This week, we put a lot more time into our drivebase and arm and drafting for our intake. We did a lot of planning with our mentors over Discord and Slack and were able to sketch some designs for the intake using our flipping arm. We also ordered motors and materials to use in order to build the intake next week. The programming team made sure that camera code was working well and started to look at ways to optimize and map controls for the cargo intake.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to work at SM’s facility on the weekends due to lack of supervision and them being out at other regionals, but we have been hard at work at our school’s innovation lab. Next week, we plan to start building our cargo intake and hopefully mount it to the arm so we can get a lot of practice with cargo before going to worlds.
