Rōnin Robotics was founded in 2018 by a band of students at Portola with a vision to explore the STEM field. Now, the team is expanding with new members and is planning for its future success. This First Robotics Team is a part of FIRST Robotics. The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting Mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, leadership, and community awareness.
