Preparation for Worlds

4/5-4/12

In the months after OC regional our team spent hundreds of hours reviewing our performance. We critiqued each part of the robot for optimum performance at Worlds.

As a team we saw it fit rebuild the most critical part of our robot, the arm.

The component that provides our team the ability to score points was rebuilt from scratch. It was decided that the arm needed to be more sturdy and the plastic components would not suffice. It was also decided that in order to be a better overall team we would require a cargo intake. A cargo intake, that must fire correctly,be mounted within the permissible rules and be made completely from scratch,a daunting task. As a rookie team we lack the materials needed to produce a top notch intake. But from the passion of our team members we were able to construct a intake that accomplishes it's task to near perfection.

As a team, we may not have a lot of combined experience, but we strongly believe that our passion for learning, and the concept of robotics itself will aid us in our journey. As a team we gained confidence in each other, and our robot.
