Spotlight: JTMS VEX Robotics

At the same time as our robotics season this year, members of our team have been mentoring students at Jeffrey Trail Middle School’s VEX Robotics Team. With some of our current members having previously been on the VEX Team, it was a great chance to reach out to our local community with the experience we’ve gained this season. We were incredibly grateful for this opportunity and enjoyed every minute of helping the team flourish.

We’re super proud of the team for making it to State level championships and being really close to making it to Nationals. We’re glad that we were able to help the team with design fabrication, machining parts, proper usage of tools, and general strategic choices that we picked up on with our experience in FRC. Next year we aim to have more mentors helping out here so our local robotics scene can thrive even more!
